"Element sucks" is not an argument against Matrix anymore. Because yes, Element does kind of suck!
To those of you out there who have been suggested
#Matrix as a Discord alternative, but were scared away by people saying the UX is bad, I ask that you consider Sable as your client. It's very intuitive, rather Discord-like, and contains everything Discord (Nitro) has and more. Plus the team who makes it is awesome and are constantly updating it and making it better. There's still a bit of jank, because of course there is; even Discord has jank. But I've signed up several unassuming friends of mine in the last few months and sent them to use Sable and, as is so rare in tech in general, they haven't had any issues.
