I wanna tell this to every activist org I get involved with: You know in the action movie, there's always "the tech" that never goes into the field, always works behind the scenes, makes the connections, opens the doors, says things like, "Just one moment. Annnnnd, we're in." No one knows what they look like, and if they ever do meet face to face, it's always disappointing and mildly distressing. I'm the tech.
I just dunno if being the tech is as useful as it is in action movies.
