Can't remember if I posted this before, but as things only get worse:
My dad works in oil and gas and has for decades, here in Alberta. I asked him if he has the ear of any higher-ups anymore. He said he doesn't, in his current job, he's happily just a loader operator.
I said, "I was just wondering what they're thinking of this whole crisis with
#Iran."
"Oh! Even I hear about that, they're over the damn moon about it! Of course they are."
