Hubzilla has the ability to block imports of posts containing certain strings — for instance, the Mastodon scammers that always end with the same fake handle claiming to be the security team.
It's a little unintuitive how you do this: Go to your channel settings, and in the "do not import posts with this text" bit, enter in the string you want to block, one per line. I find using regex usually works better, especially with hashtags or strings with spaces, ie:
