Every now and again throughout my life I've gotten an actual fan, someone who genuinely likes me and the stuff that I'm doing, whatever that might be. And I always end up kinda freaking out and giving them the cold shoulder until they go away. I always think I want to be popular and known until I actually am, even a tiny bit.
