@ferret Actually... Yeah, I thought it was because ExFAT failed at being a usable FS again. I purged out my appcompat folders and I could only get things to run on my home directory steam library.

try running "PROTON_LOG=1 %command%" as an argument for the game, it should put everything in a text file in your home directory. also ksyslog is pretty good for getting the kernel's take on what's going on if you don't already know about journalctl.
