DPRK: makes you want to cry/nuke America/both
Cuba: Can't even imagine Hispanic music that isn't communist anymore
France: automated electronic keyboard music
America: some dude on a guitar trying to fit as many words into a verse as possible

Inconsistent metre, inconsistent rhyme. And just a guy sitting on a bench with a guitar. Which is a little ironic that that's the state of music that's supposed to be all about people working together.

I have to wonder why we can't get together, like, a band. More than just two people and at most two instruments. It's really telling that we're talking about building a mass movement and no one can even get a couple dozen people together to create inspiring and powerful music. We can listen to these Guys On Guitars and be inspired about labour and shouting politely in the streets at politicians, but it doesn't give the sense of an actual powerful movement.
