So, the friend that I've largely been talking about, the one that I have who actually reads books but has just been the most unhelpful person in regard to mine, just asked for the manuscript. So chock up one more person who figured they'd give it a glance for my sake and now are unable to put it down. They just told me "I'm actively trying to stop [because they're literally on the clock and have work to do]." And they've had some very helpful feedback as well as they read. Things are looking up!
