I see people talking about how truly fucked up LLMs are, and I'm like — okay, I get that it's not any sort of silver bullet, that it's causing issues with people relying on the bots, things like that, but it isn't dangerous — and then I see this stuff about AI psychosis and realize that I only think that because I've never used the most popular chatbot out there, that being ChatGPT.
Fuck, we need to just ban this company. Literally allowing their LLM to pretend to be sentient to get attention and parasocial addicts.
