I wonder how many people squint all paranoid at the "edited on..." icon my messages on here sport, going "what monstrous things did you write this time before you edited them out, Ferret?" when in reality it's just because I was typing like a drunkard and mashing ctrl+enter like a maniac

@Comrade Ferret oh this comes to mind as well and then i check if the edited time is close to the posted time. I feel if it is too close then its usually a typo or something the author has missed. If its after sometime then its usually that they edited based on the response they received.
