Met up with mom again. She was better, more respectful. I thanked her for it, and she said she wasn't even thinking about it — which is probably true, she kinda just lives life automatically, but in this case she automatically learned. And to her credit as well, she asked me about politically correct terminology and we had a good and productive conversation about it that she seemed quite engaged in.
