Just realized that just because I can view #Lemmy communities just like forums from #Hubzilla, I can't post to (at least most of?) them. That is, they accept comments on posts, but not new posts from other instances.

@Comrade Ferret It is possible to post to them, but you have to make a public post and tag the lemmy community @community@address.com in the message. This is obviously going to be delivered to all your followers but thats how lemmy works, no privacy.
