Got a beta reader from a community that revolves around beta reading and they give me just the weirdest feedback that could only come out of the most inscrutable misreading of the text. Not even in an "I didn't realize that wasn't clear, let me fix that potential for misunderstanding" way, but like a "Did you actually even read this or did you just skim it?" way.
