After a couple weeks now of trying to suss out what's going on, I'm still having troubles on my #
Hubzilla instance with federating with certain major #
Mastodon instances. I've done a lot of testing and a lot of fussing with things, and have concluded that there must just be something weird between running Hubzilla behind Cloudflare, and certain privacy or security settings enabled by some Mastodon admins, and there's nothing that I can do about it unless I want to learn and do a whole lot more coding than I'm capable of right now.
Unless someone has an idea of what these settings may be, or what I can do about it, I just wanted to give everyone the heads-up that I may need to move back to Friendica, and advise everyone on #
WotW do the same. Apologies for the whiplash, and hopefully it doesn't come to that, as I really like a lot of Hubzilla features, but I personally see the inability to fully federate with many instances to be a deal-breaker.
