Does the notify_admin addon work? Not revcieving new registration emails

I enabled this addon to be notified of new registrations on my hub that require approval but i do not receive any, other emails (notification, password change etc.) are getting delivered. Is this an issue with the addon? can other admins using the addon confirm?

@Hubzilla Support Forum It doesn't send you an email, but it gives you a notification in your HZ notifications. Weirdly, it took a little bit for me to start receiving the notifications, but now it's pretty reliable. I don't know what changed.
