If you can’t care for some marginalized communities how can anyone trust you to care for them?

You get that the USSR was actually incredibly accepting of LGBTQ people post revolution, right? It wasn’t until Stalin changed that when he took power that they were vilified.
And the PRC they literally have pride parades in Shanghai and Chengdu is like the unofficially accepted LGBTQ home in China. What are you on about?

Actually existing socialism will never be good enough because building a new economic system while the Empire tries to stamp it out is
hard
and inevitably it won’t be perfect, and if there are problems then it wasn’t worth trying and we should just go back under the boot of capitalism and be grateful it’s such a great boot that stomps on us.

A counter example is Cuba is now one of the most progressive countries when it comes to LGTBQ+ rights. Good Communists push to support all sexualities and genders but the material conditions of the country can limit and slow that development.
Russia has been capitalist again for 20+ years and yet it isn’t a bastion of freedom for these groups.

Which is, again, extremely recent, and also fraught with contradiction among its voting populace. It has an amazing constitution, but it only barely squeezed through (and is still only that — a constitution).
I agree that good communists support the rights of the entire working class and all minorities within it. This unfortunately comes frequently into conflict with the democratic values of communism, and the need to maintain national stability. This is why the DPRK, for instance, is basically a whole nation of "don't ask, don't tell" — nothing on the books about discrimination against LGBTQ+ people, and the Korean Friendship groups the government associates with are always pro-LGBTQ+, but the country itself doesn't acknowledge their existence one way or another, for the sake of stability in their immensely prolonged period of immediate threat.
Russia is not at all stable, nor is the rest of the Soviet bloc. It moved straight from the ossified and besieged socialism of the 70s and 80s into fascism, immediately embracing capitalism in crisis, and that's where it's remained.

I see the Hammer and Sickle so we need to append this List of Exceptions:
Homelessness and starvation in China and Russia doesn’t count, poverty doesn’t count there
Uighurs and Tibetans don’t count, and it was okay for China to veto a ceasefire in gaza
It’s okay to support fascism like Putin and Donald Trump, and it’s okay to promote authoritarianism in general. Funding Iran and hostile factions in Egypt and Pakistan, opposing defence pacts like the EU and NATO surely will not destabilize global international politics
According to Nutomic, gender identities are western liberal delusions, it’s okay to only allow one state sponsored religion
All people as equals beneath the one supreme leader, that is
We love “history” and philosophy comrade anybody who disagrees with us must read more theory comrade, do you have your approved reading list comrade?
The biggest injustice in society is Liberalism - the “capitalist pig” advocacy for human rights

While we’re on the topic, World admins when asked about the ML funding banner that supports those Tankies Dessalines and Nutomic, responded that they support the development. Here is a list of problematic things about those pro-genocide, pro-imperialist, monsters:

I recommend not using World or supporting them since they’ve chosen a side.
