waybar, and as the first one was overly complex for my sway setup, I decided to use the second... only to realize that its maker didn't 100% finish the documentation. Alhamdulillah, I've managed to eventually get the widget running, but after spending so much time on it already, I decided to fork the repo onto Codeberg and update the documentation as it deserves, so that other people won't have to go through the same effort for what should be a very simple widget:
